Autograph letters signed from William Booth, London, to John Booth I [manuscript], 1628-1647 (bulk 1628-1629).

William, John's younger brother, writes from London, where he unsuccessfully seeks service, and from the Netherlands, where he is a soldier. Much information about sieges, battles, etc. On versos of several letters are drafts of John's replies, also a copy of a letter to Thomas Morton, then bishop of Lichfield. All but one letter are dated 1628-1629.
